Advisory/Sales Manager

for Alternative Investments for professional investors (AIFMD) globally commission based only

Based in London in the UK, we are an intelligence connector and a multiple solutions provider. The combined skills of our team represent decades of experience in banks and financial services, encompassing a wide range of asset classes. Benefiting from our vast network, we have expertise in structuring financial solutions and adapting them to qualified investors. Our target clients are Professional Investors; Family Offices, Independent Asset Managers and Pension Funds.

We are looking for highly motivated Advisory/Sales Manager for Alternative Investments globally who are responsible for proactive advisory/sales coverage for professional investors.

  • Take responsibility to source and foster new leads (institutional and professional clients) and establish strong prospect business cases
  • Work focused to convert leads into prospects, prioritise efforts to anticipate and ensure appropriate responses to prospect needs
  • Establishing and maintaining professional relationships with professional investors
  • Work globally, primarily remote with a home base and meeting clients physically
  • Update and maintain the CRM for accurate recordkeeping of all relationships
  • Provide and deliver a market leading Alternatives investments proposition and offering

Requirements:

  • Take responsibility to source and foster new leads (institutional and professional clients) and establish strong prospect business cases
  • Strong service mentality, team player mentality with emotional intelligence and experience of working with different cultures
  • Knowledge and understanding of the Alternatives industry across product and asset classes
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable regulations and restrictions
  • Responsibility for building a pipeline and business, including your own profile and network
  • Be part of our friendly, knowledge-sharing, entrepreneurial culture, and flat hierarchy
  • Work in a role that lets you learn, and gives you responsibility and independence
  • High level of attention to detail and accuracy in combination with a hands-on mentality
  • Excellent analytical, quantitative, and organisational skills, as well as the ability to manage multiple ad hoc projects simultaneously
  • Solid MS Office skills (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.), and fast adaption of new tools required
  • Proficient level of written and spoken English; knowledge of German, Spanish, French, Russian, Arabic, Chinese, Swedish, Norwegian, Finnish, Italian, Portuguese, Thai, Malaysian, Indonesian, Hindi, Urdu, or any other language with a prospective market is a plus
